Born in Muloor, Mangalore, he was instilled early with the values of hard work, humility, and perseverance. As a young man, he moved to Mumbai in search of opportunity — carrying little more than hope and determination in his heart. His dream was clear: to build something of his own that would serve the nation and leave a lasting impact.

That dream began to take shape in 1991, when he founded Panchvati Valves & Flanges Pvt. Ltd. in Nashik. With deep technical expertise, an unwavering commitment to quality, and unmatched integrity, he laid the foundation of a company that would go on to become a leading name in the manufacturing and export of Gate, Globe, and Check Valves.

His leadership style was hands-on, visionary, and deeply people-centric. He believed a company’s greatest strength lies in its people — and he nurtured a team that continues to carry forward his legacy with pride and purpose. To all who worked with him, he was more than just a founder; he was a mentor, a guide, and a father figure.

A staunch believer in the Make in India movement, Shri Shrinivas Kanchan was committed to producing world-class valves domestically — ensuring standards that matched, and often exceeded, those of global competitors. Under his stewardship, the company grew from a modest manufacturing unit into a globally trusted exporter, with products installed across India and international markets.

In recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the industry, he was honored with the Rashtriya Nirman Ratan Award by the Government of India in 2022 — a moment of immense pride for him and for the entire Panchvati family.
